Named after the owner's daughter, this Chardonnay exhibits aromas of orange flowers and toasted oak with mineral nuance. The Talbott family believes in making Burgundian style but accessable wines and I believe they have delivered here. The initial attack is of citrus and pineapple with additional tropical flavors but the minerality and acidity shines through without overwhelming the fruit and thus makes this Chardonnay a nice everyday wine and for social occassions. This wine will pair well with grilled scampi drizzled with white truffle butter. A very good effort. POW 88.
